The image was resized and stripped of metadata, then mapped onto a manually authored depth surface for constrained parallax. The adapted photograph and relief retain the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. Small modeled birds provide separate animation. Building distances are estimates.

3D models

The sleeping dog is adapted from “German Shepard Dog (rigged, hair)” by Paweł Wałasiewicz, from BlenderKit. It was reposed, recoloured and baked into the room.

Music

Each record plays an instrumental by an independent composer. Tracks were loudness-matched and re-encoded; one was shortened.

The records in the crate play 30-second previews streamed from Apple Music; tapping the player screen opens each song there.

Vinyl crackle and the needle drop are generated in the browser. If a track can’t play, the record falls back to an original synthesized score.
